Challenge #59
The community isn't dead yet. :Þ I don't know what's happened to Beck, but since nothing has happened here for nearly a month, I'm going to take the initiative of posting a (sort-of) new challenge.
We tried this around the holidays, but everyone was busy then, and there were no entries. Shall we see if it flies this time? :)
The general rules:
* Entries are due by 11pm EST on Sunday, April 19. (Yes, I know that's three weeks, but I'm trying to get things lined up with the rotation schedule again.)
* Do not post your icons anywhere else until the challenge has ended.
* Icons must be newly made for this challenge.
* Complete community rules can be found here.
Challenge #54: Opposites
For this challenge, icons must be submitted in pairs. In each pair, one icon must depict a concept that is the opposite of the other: for example, one icon might depict "good", and the other one "evil". (Or light and dark, love and hate, fire and ice... use your imagination! If you think of a pair of opposites you're not sure about, feel free to ask.)
You may use any images or screencaps from any of the X-Men movies. The two icons in a pair do not have to feature the same character.
You may submit up to three pairs of icons.
One more thing: the icon pairs will be displayed together, and besides the usual placement voting for separate icons, there will be a vote for the pair that has the best/most creative use of the opposites theme.
