I totally recommend Slumdog Millionaire. I've seen it twice now, and both times were equally as satisfying. It's a brilliant story, with a rich historical and cultural background, but the chronology is also very remarkable. lol oh man, it's funny because I was showing my roommate some My Chem interviews and she was telling me that she remembers seeing them on SNL and thinking Gerard had an amazing live voice. I was like "lolwut. Really? Huh."

But that's cool you got to see Alkaline Trio. I've never really listened to them before. The Killers are really tight onstage. Their live show sounds close to the album, for the most part.

I wanted to see Alkaline Trio for some time now, glad I finally got the chance. I saw The Killers this summer, and I agree, they play really tight. I wish they did more crowd interaction though (but that may be because they play in Europe, not for a home crowd).

Yeah, The Killers are awkward on stage as far as crowd interaction goes. Brandon acknowledged it in a few interviews. I miss when he was indie and adorable and sane :(

Yeah, Alkaline Trio is pretty cool :) Hey, I wish you were there too, then I could stop semi-forcing my non-punkrock-minded friends to go with me to these things. And the small venue was nice, but I think there's more atmosphere at a festival, youknow.

Hehe :) And thanks to you I can explain about the last song and the islam/hindoe scene now. My friends are so impressed.

Today, we had a field trip to Antwerp (to explore its multicultural population) and the guide was asking all kinds of questions about the jewish people, the muslims, the africans, etc. And I could answer a lot of questions about the islam, again thanks to you. My classmates were so impressed.
