That amounts to either 'Sorry, we don't know anything and couldn't tell you even if we wanted to' or 'This is way too hush-hush and of course we can't be bothered to tell people anything even if they're obviously worried out of their skulls'. You probably would've had a better time getting information out of a brick wall.
