So true ads. They are just so CORNY. You're going to love it though when you're back there... TWENTYPOURSEBEN!! And you get to watch PINOY BIG BRO lol.
'Nasaan Ka Man' was pretty explosive with Diether Ocampo - he was just shagging this girl hardcore - then he abused my poor CLAUDINEEEE! lol... Jericho was very cute as usual... you must watch it.
WHOA MAMA! That's a whole lot of crisps up there. Where's the Suqares though Lan? Mmmm Monster Munch, I think I want some of the Hot 'n' Spicy one. Speaking of...where are the Nik Naks too? Uh oh now you've got me started! Guess I'm taking atrip down tot eh newsagents later, lol.
Is the 'Happy Together' the one with Ogie Alcasid and some lady who was like a Miss World contestant or something and was a blatant rip-off of 'Splash' or is it another Happy Together? Thanks for the compliment Lan, although from watching 'Milan' - still need to give you that back, it looks like ANYONE can write a movie. Just take EVERY cliche you can think of and roll it all up into a movie and you've got it.
I have certainly written some CHEESY stuff in my time and blame it all completely on the inner FOB in me. If I ever do write one though you for sure are getting the starring role. How could I not after seeing your debut video? The artista in you just shone!
AHHHHH SALT & VINEGAR SQUARES YUMMMMMMMMMY!!! Yea monster munch is an all time childhood fave of mine. UGGGGGGGH NIK-NAKS TOOO... theyre so niiiceee... we can start the CRISP CLUB lol.
Hmm I don't think that is the one. 'Happy Together' has Kris Aquino in it and is about 2 best friends who meet at a gay parade in Malate lol. Yea when I see you next, just bring it along. It's so true, as long as you have drama and romance - then you're sorted! I think we could do it lol, lots of personal experiences can be used :S
Ahhh thanks Gem... my Artista name will be Summer Sky! hahahahha :p
OMG THEY HAVE WORCESTER SAUCE FLAVOUR THERE??? Wow look at all that packaging!
I love looking at foreign packaging... and it's so cool how you guys have Walkers, while we have Lays. Worsits sounds so British! LOL DONT YOU LOVE FOOOOOOOOD!
Hahahah FILIPINO movies... i heard SIGAW (With Richard Guittierez, sigh) was scary as hell. =D
damn I love crisps too. I'm not a big fan of potatoes, but crisps do me in. I especially love the thick ones like kettle chips, I remember in London we had some like Burgundy and cheese flavored. MMMMmmmm good. Salt & Vinegar is a favorite too :D
Nasaan Ka Man is pretty heavy, and Tim's a friend of the director (who also wrote the original script -- his version was pretty morbid, the movie is really a lot lighter, STAR CINEMA style as Tim says) who does commercial work. I was impressed by the production design of that movie and yup, production designer also does commercial work. It's not your typically-costumed (bakya) movie eh? The scene I liked best (executed) was probably the most shocking one.
I will try and get you, if they ever compile the films, a copy of all this year's Cinemalaya (independent film) entries. Low-budget, but they had a couple of really nicely done ones.
Welcome back Kis! I know he got a lot of kises from you :P LOL
KETTLE CHIPS are just lovely with salsa dip or cream cheese mmmmmmm.
Yea the movie is quite heavy. I was quite shocked by how different it was, because I was expecting something like Kailangan Kita. But in a way it was a good shock. Wow it was a lighter version?!?! I have the un-cut version so Diether is proper getting INTO it lol. He's pretty scary in this. I have to say I was a bit :*( when Pilar was talking to Jovan and her aunts were like - who are you talking to?!?!

Ahhh yes. I was surprised. I'm not too sure it did as well as All My Life and Kailangan Kita and all the other happy-Star Cinema movies.
And yes Gem should start writing pronto!

I heard, but then I guess it was probably cos it wasn't the conventional 'type' of movie.
She should, I want to be the next star of Filipino cinema!!
