Love and death are never trivial, dear. I am so sorry that all of those people in your life are sick or gone...they'll be in my prayers.

But Dani, do you know what? In highschool, whenever I used to chill with you guys on 3rd floor in the mornings just before school started, I'd watch you come in, slop your stuff in your locker, check yourself out, run your hand through your hair, and I'd just think to myself "shit, why can't I be that together?" Just the fact that no matter what's going on in your life, you always show up looking so grown-up and like you've got everything under control...I dunno, I envy even the appearance of that kind of confidence. You always struck me as such a strong person - whether you managed to fool me into thinking it or not lol - and I guess that's my attempt at telling you something good. I admire your strength and maturity.
