Here via , and I have to say, I'm pretty gobsmacked. I've never read anything with Fenrir before, and have never found myself feeling as sorry for Hermione as I did by the end of this. The last line just kills me, completely.

I also love how it can be taken either way at the end, Remus possibly being evil, but maybe rescuing her. I'm not a fan of darkfic that turns schmoopy at the end, with people being rescued and redeemed, but I don't like the idea of someone living forever in misery - so this is just perfect!

Definitely going in my memories. Thanks VERY much for writing and sharing!

I'm so glad you decided to read it, especially as you've never read Fenrir before. And I'm so pleased the last line effected you so. I must've re-written it a dozen times until it said what I wanted it to say. *grins*

Yes, the ambiguous ending was one I was striving for. I had debated on a sequel, to clear up all the wondering about Remus, but I've since decided it would take away from this fic. I rather enjoy letting people decide for themselves ... especially since some people do enjoy darkfic that turns nice at the end (though I'll never understand WHY).

Oh God. That was amazing. It captured my attention within the first line adn I knew this was going to be a good fic. The ending! I thought Hermione was going to be saved!! There isn't a chance for a Remus/Hermione fic that picks up where this left off is there?

In any case, amazing.
