(no subject)
Okay so the supervisors at my work have been planning a town evening for a while and for the first time I actually got invited. At first I was like :\ hmm maybe but then it seemed like everyone really did want me to come and even though I was a bit more :\ on the day luckily I went because it was the best ever. Here is a timeline of my night
9:45pm: I am a fool and took the closing shift at work, so I'm just cashing up all the tills when the group of supervisors comes to visit me. They have been at a BYO and I would say there are only two who are still sober. For future reference, the people are Mitch, Paul, Matt, Katherine, Sarah, Priya, Greg, Priya's friend. Mitch uses the P.A system to do a slurry closing call, James the manager appears from nowhere and is pissed, they get thrown out.
10:20: I leave work out the secret side door, dressed and ready. I'm immeadiately presented with a jager bomb except with more alcohol instead of the red bull part. Also some baileys shot thing. We walk to the bus stop and accidentally lose Greg, Mitch, Priya and her friend on the way. We assume they are making out so whatever.
11:00: The bus arrives. Matt had some wine which I finished, and we met some new friends at the bus stop.
11:15: More woolworths people (Rachel and Helen) get on the bus at another stop. Rachel and Mitch announce they have sorted their shit out (relationship dramallamaz)
11:30?: We end up at a club in town
12:00: We realise half the people are missing, and start searching for them. We find them down an alleyway by another bar. Rachel is sitting in another girls puke and screaming "I WANT TO GO TO TOWN" but she is already in town. Mitch gets pissed off, bundles her (kicking and screaming/crying) into a cab with the girl whose puke it was, gets in himself, and heads home.
From here my recollection of time gets way off so I'm just making them up.
12:30: Katherine is feeling sick (heartburn?) so she goes home. She texts us on the way out to say she passed Mitch, Rachel, and the other girl on the motorway, getting kicked out of their cab. We are back in temeperance, Matt (HELLO FIVEY THIS IS THE CREEPY SUPERVISOR) buys all the girls more drinks yay. More dancing. Paul buys me a drink. Then I go to the bathroom, and then I meet one of our friends from the bus stop. Then some girls point out to me that part of my dress was tucked into my panties. Oh god. Why did I just admit that. I escape from bus stop friend who FAILED TO POINT THIS OUT TO ME.
1:00: We head to another bar, Maya. More drinks. Greg and Priya hookup, people lol. More dancing on a stage.
1:30: Somewhere called the Lotus? I've never been here before, half our group gets turned down at the door for being too drunk, somehow I manage to get up the stairs. Inside it's fun, but Sarah is pretty far gone. I get lost for a bit (hey Paul this is when I text you instead of other Paul who I was trying to find). They're sitting on a couch, Paul keeps getting Sarah more water while I fall asleep. A bouncer politely tells me that I have to keep my eyes open because noone is allowed to sleep in there.
2:00: We meet up with everyone back on the street. Go to The Big Kumara. They have a stripper pole. I am entertained by this. More dancing on a stage. Mitch is back by now btw. I can't remember when he came back. Close dancing with him who I really don't even want to dance with but I am pretty drunk and don't want to seem rude so whatever. Then mostly just close dancing with Paul who is nice so it's okay.
2:30: Matt used to work at Woolies but is now manager of a Subway store. I cannot walk very straight so Paul has to lead me there. Matt lets us in and makes everyone sandwiches. I am tired and try to sit on the floor a lot but Paul won't let me. After he makes the sandwiches he remembers it is not really allowed and makes us all go outside to eat them. We sit on the curb in another alleyway and make a new friend called Bernie Mack? I am pretty sure that is not his real name.
3:00: We try to get into another club but everyone is too wasted.
3:30: Half the group caught a cab but the rest of us can't find one. We wander the streets and eventually get one for $40 to waterloo station. We mean to go to Matts apartment but when we get there we realise the rest of them aren't there so we wait at the station for a bit. A bit turns into an hour. I am falling asleep on Paul. Mitch appears and they go to Matts for something non-alcoholic. Me and Paul stay at the station and talk. Mitch reappears and goes on about his various relationships for a long time.
4:30? It starts to rain. Mitch goes home, I walk with Paul to his place in the rain. It's kind of a long walk so we get pretty wet.
5:00: Pauls house. He gives me a towel and some water, we sit in his lounge and watch The Amazing Race and talk more.
6:00: Somehow I am at my house in bed.
THE NEXT DAY
11:30 I have work
11:35 I feel like throwing up on a customer
3:00 I serve the guy I was dancing with in Temperance when I had my dress in my panties. He recognises me.
3:01 I want to die.
