hai.
I woke up at 4.45, straightened my hair, made sure I had everything, got dressed and caught the bus.
It was like, an hour long bus ride to get to the train and I was nervous as hell. I had thrown my outfit together last minute because I hadn't bothered picking one out beforehand.
It was freezing cold at the train station and I was surrounded by a bunch of adults who were on their way to work. They were giving me weird looks and it was awkward. XD
I finally got to Union Station and I was dead tired. The train ride had been long and the people beside me were talking non-stop so I couldn't sleep.
I just followed the crowd of people, hoping they'd take me to the concourse. But it failed, and I got lost in the train station.
I called Shanna and after about ten minutes, we found each other, and she gave me the glowsticks and escorted me into a taxi before leaving for school.
The ride was 11$ with tip. I got there and looked around, wondering where everyone was.
I went into the tarp and realized that that is where the line was, so I sat down on the freezing cold cement ground and checked the time. 7.45 in the morning. The earliest my friends were showing up was 11.00.
I talked to random girls and guarded their stuff while they left to take pictures of the lake or walk to T&T for four hours until I heard, "KAAAAAAT."
I scrambled up so quickly that I fell over. I went to the front of the tarp line (which was the only line at the time) and was greeted by Jannel and Julia.
We hugged and I wished Jannel a Happy Birthday before we kind of just sat down randomly near the front of the line.
I was really grateful that they helped me sell a bunch of glowsticks right away. I had had no customers prior to that. XD
Around an hour later, Leah called Julia announcing that she was here, and couldn't find the tarp.
"She wants us to go find her, but I don't want to leave here, just in case," So, I let Jannel and Julia stay and I proceeded down the line out of the tarp, which had grown tremendously, and stepped outside.
"KAAAAAAAAT." I heard someone scream, and I recognized the voice from Stickam and knew exactly who it was.
Leah ran up to me and we hugged, and I dragged her to the front of the line, despite the glares from some other people.
Whatever, we would be in front of them anyway. We had permission.
So we sat back down near Julia and just kind of talked for a few hours, taking breaks to go to the toilet and sell glowsticks.
It was really weird having people recognize me when at times I had no idea who they were. XD
When Isabelle and Sarah showed up, I told them I couldn't bring them to the front of the line with me, but I couldn't say why not.
I felt bad, but I had no choice.
At around 1.45 I called Vera, telling her to get here soon so she wouldn't miss anything.
Of course, she was running late.
So we sold more glowsticks and went back to the bathroom a few more times, nothing really interesting, but fun nevertheless.
I remembered one time introducing Leah as, "This is Leah. She's kind of slow...and uh, she doesn't speak English very well."
And then she called me a bitch LOL. And the girls just kind of stared at us like, "What the fahckkkk."
A guy from Universal came out and asked where Julia was. We all pointed to her, but then some random girl was like, "O HAI, LOL I'M JULIA. XDDDD"
And the guy was just like, "O rly, because you owe me 100$."
LOL Then he talked to the *real* Julia.
By the time Shanna came, the line was epic, and the meet and greet was starting soon, so I found her, gave her the glowsticks and talked on the other side of the barrier.
They finally let us in, and there was no sign of Vera, although she was in a taxi on the way here. I was really scared she'd miss it.
I finally got to go to the bathroom inside. It was really nice and had some parachute things on the ceiling LOL.
We all sat on the stage, gathering our stuff that we wanted signed, when Julia got a call telling her that Vera had finally arrived.
When I went to take off my TH shoe that I wanted signed, I went into my bag and grabbed some Pink Sugar body spray.
I really didn't want it smelling bad.
They came out and everyone shook hands.
Georg stared at my non-existent boobs for a long time, and Gustav's hand was really sweaty.
I was pretty much in awe of how much taller the twins are than me. D:
We could only get two things signed per person, so I decided on my shoe, and my SSLDK booklet.
I felt bad that people had given me their stuff to get signed and that I couldn't.
After the signing, we took pictures.
It was my turn, and I almost fell over because I was shaking so much. I was so nervous. XD
Tom and Bill put their hands on my back and I was kind of just like *ded*.
I didn't even think to put my arms around them, too. D:
We talked a bit with Tobi while the others got their pictures done, asking if he'd kicked anyone out before, and such.
He was really nice to us, considering he's usually a bitch to most people, LOL.
Saki handed us all out these passes that would let us in first, since we couldn't stay inside the venue.
When we walked out, the people just kind of gave us weird looks. It was really awkward.
We sat down on the curb, now making a third line. One for the normal people (which started at the tarp, where we were before), one for the wristbands (which was FULL of flies), and one for us (which was just a big closed off circle with a curb and some newspapers).
We waited around for another hour and a half or so outside of the venue, in our little group.
Jannel and I sang the Jamaican Laugh song and Leah tried to learn the Girlicious dance.
A helicopter came by and we started screaming, "OH GOD, IT'S BUSHIDO !" (:
After they went around checking bags and stuff, and then they finally let us in.
People in line started to scream, "I FUCKING HATE YOU. YOU DON'T DESERVE THIS." to us, and it was really scary.
I kind of just hid behind Leah while it was going on.
I kept falling over the whole time we were in line; I hadn't had any food all day (unless you count that cracker that Leah put in my mouth that was 98% salt).
I tried to get through bag check as quickly as I could, then I ran to the stage to grab a spot for Leah and I.
I spread myself out, trying to save enough room for the both of us, but by the time she got there, I had been pushed so closely, there was barely enough room for me.
Before the show even started, I was pushed back to second row, but it was okay.
I was just so pissed that the girls in the front kept complaining.
It's like, "DON'T FUCKING COMPLAIN THAT YOU'RE IN THE FRONT ROW AND CAN'T BREATHE. IF YOU WANT TO BREATHE AGAIN, GET PULLED OUT. JUST STFU." -_-"
I couldn't breathe either. The girls in front of me had slept there, so they smelled REALLY bad. I think Leah could smell them, too.
Before it started, I kept gagging every time I had to breathe in.
After endless pushing and counting of the girls being pulled out, Tokio Hotel finally came on stage and started playing Ready, Set, Go!
I found that the pushing actually started to calm down as they played. People were more focused on the band, and not their spot, or who was in front of them. Or maybe I was just too distracted to notice. XD
Every time I tried to get a good picture, the girl in front of me would smack my arm, making all them blurry.
Honestly, she was so mean to me.
She recorded everything on video, even though you weren't allowed to.
And I'm sure all her videos are ruined, because she kept shouting, "BILLLLLL. TOMMMMMM," with this really manly voice all the time throughout it.
At one point, I'm pretty sure it was during Break Away, Tom and Bill switched places, and she was filming and kept screaming, "BILLLLLL, BILLLL, BILLLL." and Tom kind of looked at her weirdly. Then he noticed me singing, smiled and sang back to me.
I was really happy when they started playing On the Edge. It meant a lot to me, considering it's my favourite English song, and I had no idea that they'd play it.
Every time they stopped, I had to keep gasping for air, it was literally impossible to breathe. So many sweat bodies and too much hair.
When Bill stopped and was like, "Do you need some water?" and threw it on us, I was kind of just like, "FUCK, THANK YOU BILL."
The rest is kind of a blur, I got so many looks from Bill and Tom, it was really weird, but I loved it. (:
I couldn't see any blue glowsticks around me during DDM, and I could only hold mine up during the chorus. My arm was about to fall off.
At the end, I was dead.
I couldn't move, I was about to just fall over and faint. I screamed for Leah until she saw/heard me.
She yelled at a security guard to give me water and he did, thank god.
But I drank it so fast, I almost threw up. -_-"
Shanna found us and we all left together. I didn't bother buying merch, I needed to get out.
I was so glad I got a drive to T&T from her dad. I don't think I would've made it there on my own.
Then I went to Wendy's and ate food and tried not to pass out/throw up.
THE END~
