It was early morning and Sammi Morgan was ready for the world

"Wha-" Nikki's eyes hung heavy with sleep but she forced herself to open them anyway. In a few minutes the girl would be ready for the day with her usual energetic outlook.

"Huh? Sammi?...What's going on? Morning?"

"We're going to be late for lessons!" Sammi called out, her voice sounding urgent. "And you've got to be ready, imagine if you went with messy hair!"

She gave a mock shudder, thoroughly enjoying herself.

"Late!?" Nicole gasped attempting to spring out of bed but falling in the process, hitting her forhead on the nightstand.

She got up quickly, rubbing her head. It didn't hurt as much as it seemed like it would. The girl shook her hair out and it seemed to fall perfectly in place.

"We've got to go!"

"Yep!" Sammi said, looking around the room in mock panic.

"What about the others? Should we wake them or just go to breakfast?" she asked, motioning to the other beds in the room.
