I need to watch Smiling Pasta. And so many people have recommended 1 Litre of Tears to me that I might just give in and watch it, even though it would completely ruin my Taiwanese-dramas-only streak. XP

You shouldn't limit yourself to dramas of certain languages. J-dramas can be really good. :D

Ahh, honestly, I feel like I vacuum at recommending dramas to other people because I don't know what they'd like. D: But Nobuta wo Produce is a nice one to start off with; it's only 10 episodes long. It's the first J-drama I ever watched, so I have a soft spot for it. :] It's got interesting characters and message about friendship... And now I feel like my description doesn't describe it accurately, because NwP is something you have to watch yourself to really get a feel for it... Same goes for all dramas/movies/shows in general, though. I'LL STOP RAMBLING NOW. DD:
