we just don't have the power to penalise the people for their incompetence and laziness.WORD ( ... )

No seriously I totally agree with you.. fire their sorry ass for sure. I'm a bit worried about IP because of this. In a way though, the incompetence doesn't always just lie in team members.. to be honest as PM I had no idea what I was doing. *shrugs* makes IP even more scary we have to actually work for someone.

The psychiatrist thing is funny. He played a disabled woman.. and built her a life of romance, drama, success and losses. He tried to kill her off.. and the number of people responding was strange and so she had a miracle recovery. It's funny what people will believe.. I think a lot of it has to do with opening yourself up and appearing vulnerable, there's a power and trust relationship.

Anyways, thanks! Gluck to you too!!

I suppose there're two levels of incompetence- 1) because the person's stupid and 2) because the person's a lazy shit who doesn't do what they're told to. I tend to go easier on 1) rather than 2), but the end result is that the person who actually gives a damn has to make up the slack. :P ( ... )

Yeah, I guess you shouldn't be hard on people who can't do the work.. should blame yourself for not spotting stupidity from further away.. haha but in a way we couldn't choose who was in our groups. It was kinda sad (and funny) to hear a group of friends held this meeting for IP to decide on groups. Upon asking why they needed a meeting, my friend said they wanted to sort out groups and get the "look, I don't want this to ruin our friendship, but I don't want certain people in my group" out of the way first. lol it turned out that no one wanted this person in the group cuz he has this really bad rep of never turning up to uni or class ( ... )

"I want my rooms filled with long scrolls and draped tapestries." < that would make one weird room.

Catching up with old friends can be hard. ^^; I find, it is hard to go past the 'so what have you been up to' discussion.

it'd be a cool room!! mm.. maybe not a room then, perhaps a hallway.. it'd be very grand and majestic. hahaha marble pillars and all.. or maybe something like in Curse of the Golden Flower.

yeah, it is hard to get past that point.. but you can always talk about old times too. in a way.. what DO people talk about apart from what's been happening and if you're with them you talk about what has happened together..

PM... *shudder* I think I got totally put off after a group assignment last year where all my team members were last minute workers, so I had to crack the whip so many times it wasn't funny. -_- I so feel for you. In any case, let them feel your wrath when you need venting, it just makes things so much better. XD

On a random note, I want to play FF7... Something to do after exams. (Good luck for yours!) It might be the first FF game that I'll finish. XD
