mairin! i'm sorry i didn't get to see you today :( my mom was out with my sister at her friend's birthday party (that'll teach me to wake up past 1pm -__-). i'm free monday before noon, or if you want to call me the next time you're home if you'd like? by then i will def have my car back and will be able to drive/drive us around! (i am normally very safe, i promise, despite the current evidence to the contrary :( )

our tomato plants are more determined to dominate the world than kelvin. though they're being constantly thwarted by the equally determined efforts of a very hungry gopher (a source of endless frustration and fights between my parents haha :D)

Nostalgic :) Definitely summarizes my evening backyard experience-- except today, a black spider crawled up my shorts and the situation thereafter was most unpleasant :(

scary! i'm half extremely curious about what happened next and half very afraid to find out, haha! oh nhakhanh, i love how you can always be counted on to inspire such mixed emotions in me. though i hate how many more bugs appear at night .. i'm pretty sure there's an aphid on my couch right now.
