Drunk!Charlotte has become a guilty pleasure second only to Teenage!Sam in my writing these days. I was worried, though, that Dean was too soft but figured what the hell. Charlotte was passed out. ;-P

I think that's why it works so well - you know all that's in there, but he can't show it most of the time. Her being passed out lets him be that way.

I was going to have Charlotte open an eye and pull a "Gotcha" but discordia_intus wisely told me not to do that. Dean should get his moment to open up without it being anything else. I think she was right about that call. ;-P

It was less than she deserved, pinned between a jukebox and the screw-up who couldn't make any promises. - oh, dean! i want him to realize that's not true, but that's exactly what charlie's working on so i'll just let her get back to that. ;)
Charlotte Anne Webb looked sexier than any girl wearing mismatched underwear and a scuffed pair of combat boots had a right to. - i like that image. and i LOVE that dean sees the sexy.

I had entirely too much fun writing this, though I did cut the scene where Sam sings "Private Eyes." ;-P

I think what I liked the best about it is that they really are a family, in all the ways that matter. I could see Sam and Charlotte egging each other on and Dean getting grumpy but amused at the same time. They ARE the crazy in this little world of mine.

I liked this, and I don't usually like stuff with OFCs. Good job! :) This was really cute. I like Drunk!Sam. And the image of Dean spitting out his beer was priceless. :)

Thank you! Charlotte is one of my personal favorite characters, so I'm thrilled that you enjoyed the story. The Drunk!Sam bits were particularly fun to write, but he's one of my guilty pleasures.
