Today's been a fairly busy day. I managed to get all my stuff moved out of 716 and into Willow's room.
Gibb stopped by and offered to help.
Gibb: *finds herself again in the halls of the 7th floor, just walking around when she stumbles upon Tara's room. the door is open so she peaks her head in*
Tara: *packing up boxes and stacking them near the door*
Gibb: Hey Tara! *sees the boxes then looks back to Tara* Goin somewhere?
Tara: Hey there! *looks around at all the boxes* Well, yeah, kinda. *grins* But not far, just up to the 8th floor.
Gibb: *grins* Willow's room?
Tara: *nods and grins* Yeah.
Gibb: *grins wider* Wicked.
Tara: It's not like I've been staying in here since I got back from Cleveland anyway. So we talked about it and decided that it was time to move back in together. *smiles*
Gibb: That's great. *takes a couple steps in* Did you need any help?
Tara: *looks around at the mess of boxes and newspapers* That would be great! Thanks Gibb. *smiles softly* Right now I'm just kinda getting stuff together. Then we can start carrying it upstairs.
Gibb: *nods and starts moving some boxes* No problem.
Tara: *goes to the closet and starts getting clothes out* So, how are things? How's Bryn?
Gibb: *smirks* Saw her last night, she's great.
Tara: *brings stack of clothes to the bed and starts taking them off the hangers* That's great! I'll have to meet her sometime. Especially since she makes you so happy. *grins*
Gibb: *smiles back and nods* Yeah, I can introduce ya to her anytime. *helps with the pile of clothes* I think you'll like her, she's wonderful.
Tara: If she makes you smile like that all the time, then I'm sure she is. *smiles widely* And from the way you talk about her too.
Tara: *serious look on her face* I heard they found Kris?
Gibb: *nods again* Yeah, couple days ago.
Gibb: But I havent seen her around..
Tara: I-I should talk to Matthew and see how things are. *folding clothes and putting them into a box* And I need to stop in and check on Buffy again.
Gibb: Mr. Giles said she still isnt doing very well. I was talking to him last night, he's a worried mess.
Tara: Yes, he really is. *looks at her compassionately* I hope we can figure out what's causing this. I know everyone gets a little nervous when Buffy's out of sorts so to speak.
Gibb: So I've heard. But, I've also heard how you scoobies seem to get out of the worst case of things. *trys to give a convincing smile* So, maybe it'll all work out this time too.
Tara: *nods and smiles reassuringly* It will. Especially with Giles and Willow researching so much. They always figure it out.
Gibb: Good, that's good. I'll be glad to seeing people not so... sadish and worried.
Gibb: I try to remain upbeat and happy! *flahsing a huge smile* Try and keep people's spirits high. *bouncing a little* Or... that could just be the coffee talking...
Tara: Coffee can do that. Especially to Willow. She gets really hyper on coffee and mochas. *laughs* And staying in good spirits is always good. I try to be the same way. *takes box full of clothes over to stack it near the door*
Gibb: Glad we agree then. *takes her box to the floor as well*
Tara: *takes a deep breath* I think that's everything. *looks around room* But I think I want to sit for a minute before we start carrying all this stuff upstairs.
Gibb: *giggles* You have a lot of stuff. A little rest would be helpful.
Tara: *takes a seat* Ya know, I don't know how I got so much stuff either. I had nothing when I came back. Now I have all this stuff. *laughs*
Gibb: *chuckles* Eh, it happens. I've been here awhile now and I keep finding shit that I had no idea I ever had.. weird.
Tara: *nods* Well, I suppose we should get this stuff moved. Once I get this done, I have to go find Giles. He wanted to talk to me.
Gibb: *nods* Aye, aye captin. *picks up a box* Lead the way.
Tara: *picks up a box, moves out into the hallway, lets Gibb pass by and pulls the door closed behind them* To the 8th floor we go. *grins*
Gibb: Aye. *heads to the elevator*
After I finished getting all my stuff moved into Willow's room, I went to find Giles. I knew he wanted to talk to me, but mostly I was just checking on him.
Tara: *comes into the library, sees Giles on the couch having a nightmare it seems* Giles? *touches his shoulder softly*
Giles: *comes up with fists drawn back, blinking* Wha-? Who? I'm sorry. Hellow, Tara.
Tara: A-are you okay? *looks at him, concerned*You were having a pretty bad nightmare it seemed.
Giles: Not as bad as the zombie ones but... *shakes his head and runs his hand through his unruly hair, reaching for his glasses with his other.* I'm sorry, didn't mean to startle you. Are you alright?
Tara: *smiles softly, nodding* I'm fine. Sorry I didn't come and see you sooner. I was moving all my stuff out of my room.
Giles: Moving. *suddenly concerned* Where to? Are things alright?
Tara: Oh yes, things are wonderful. I'm just moving upstairs to the 8th floor. *grins widely*
Tara: I thought I should go ahead and get my stuff out of 716 though, in case anyone might need the room.
Giles: *Realizes where she means and smiles.* I'm glad things are working out with you and Willow. It feels... right with you two. After... you went away, I spent a lot of time with her. Nothing would ever fill that space except you.
Tara: I know. *nods solemnly* And I feel the same way about her. *smiles softly*
Tara: So, what was it you wanted to see me about? It seemed fairly urgent.
Giles: Just... everything. *waves his hand vaguely* I've seen Xander, he's back and in good health, thankfully. Tempted as I was to bash him, I sent him to help organize things. It's just this with Buffy, now Cassiday is dead and Kris is... out of her mind but differently than I was. I'm a bit overwhelmed and haven't even been out of this room.
Tara: Oh! Xander's back then? That's good to hear.*more serious* I heard about Cassidy. *sad look* It's always rough to deal with. A-and the thing with Kris, I heard she was back, but that's about all I've heard really.
Tara: You know that you need to not over stress yourself Giles. Do you need anything? Food, coffee, tea?
Giles: I've not heard much. *sighs heavily* Just that she's not in her right mind and was collecting money for loan-shark demons. I had a sandwich earlier but I think I could use a snack and tea. Let's head to the kitchen, shall we? I'm afraid I'm out of my league with voodoo.
Tara: Sounds good, come on, I'll fix you something to eat. *reaches down to help him up off the couch*
I fixed him something healthy to eat, rather than just a sandwich. He really needs to take a break. But I can understand his stress, I would be doing the same thing if I were in his position. I wish there was more I could do. For everyone.
