Kincaid: *rode up the elevator to the 8th floor. He really needed someone to talk to. Missing the opportunity to be with Rhiannon in Cleveland was eating him up inside. He couldn't help but feel guilty for letting her go there alone. Her safety has been the first thing on his mind.*
Kincaid: *the sound of the elevator ring brought him back to reality. He realized he spent most of the day thinking... contemplating... wishing*
Kincaid: *he made his way to Willow and Tara's room and knocked*
Kincaid: *hoped Tara was inside. He felt the need to talk to someone... and he knew Tara would be the best person to talk to*
Tara: *cleaning up the apartment, hears the knock and moves to the door, opening it* Kincaid. *smiles, then looks slightly confused* I-I thought you...*opens the door wider* Come in.
Kincaid: *threw her a half smile and he entered the room* You thought right... only it didn't happen.
Kincaid: I... I missed the flight... I kinda got lost in thought when I bruised the heck out of my hands from the punching bag. But um... she left. There now. Alone, when I should be at her side.
Tara: *motions to the couch for him to sit, takes a seat herself* Did you get a chance to talk to her?
Kincaid: No. She probably hates me.
Kincaid: God, she must think I'm the most selfish, egotistical boyfriend ever...
Kincaid: I tried to book another ticket, but... money's a big factor...
Tara: *furrows her brow* No, Kincaid. *reaches over, putting her hand over his* I'm sure she understands. Didn't she know you were having p-problems with your telekinesis? *tries to reassure him* I-I'm sure she knows you love her and honestly Kincaid, she's a slayer. She's a tough girl. *smiles*
Tara: O-oh! *realizes something* I, um, have a credit card that B-Buffy gave me when I first c-came back. I-If you r-really want to go that bad, I can get you a ticket. *smiles at him warmly*
Kincaid: I know that. It's just, I feel like I should be there for her. Ever since we got together, distance has been the big issue. And I've tried to change it, but it seems like everything possible is trying to ruin what we have...
Kincaid: *smiles* No... I can't take your guys' money...
Tara: *shakes her head* F-from what Buffy said, m-money's not that big of an issue. *winks* This would give you the chance to see her, talk to her, tell her how you're feeling.
Kincaid: Are you sure? I mean... would Buffy be okay with it?
Tara: *nods, smiling* Of course she would. S-she gave me the credit card to use as I needed. A-and I think this is definitely one of those cases.
Kincaid: *smiles* That's really nice of you. I really appreciate this... and I'm sure Rhiannon will too.
Tara: *smiles back* I'm happy to help. *looks at him* I know what it's like too, Kincaid. To be in love. *grins* But p-promise me you will talk to her. Tell her how you're feeling.
Kincaid: Consider it done.
Kincaid: You know what? Willow's lucky to have someone as... what's the word I'm looking for... special, there we go... she's lucky to have someone as special like you in her life.
Tara: *blushes and grins at him* I'm the lucky one. But thank you, as always, you're q-quite the charmer. Rhiannon is a lucky girl herself.
Kincaid: Heh... thanks.
Kincaid: Well... I better get ahold on American Airlines if I wanna get to Rhiannon asap.
Tara: Y-you can use the phone here. *motions to the phone on the counter* A-and I'll get the credit card. *gets up, goes into the bedroom, coming back out with the card, handing it to him*
Kincaid: *accepts the card* Thanks... again... *half smile*
Tara: *smiles warmly* You're welcome, Kincaid. I'll, um, step in here, while you make your call. *moves towards the bedroom*
Kincaid: Oh... no.. you don’t have to leave heh. *picks up the phone and buys a one way ticket to Cleveland*
Kincaid: *after he makes the purchase he turns to Tara* You know, most people wouldn't do this for me.... so thank you again. I know I sound like a broken record, but... I really mean it...
Tara: *smiles* Like I said, I-I'm just glad I could help. And I will help you anytime, as much as I c-can that is.
Kincaid: Same goes for you. If you ever need someone... you know... even to talk. I'm one floor down.
Kincaid: That and at work.
Tara: *nods* Of course, I really appreciate that. *smiles* You might not be saying that when I make you carry all the heavy boxes. *laughs*
Kincaid: Well.. if I ever get my power back, I won't have to *laughs*.
Tara: *winks, grinning* Now Kincaid, I don't have to give you the lecture I gave Gibb on using magick and your powers for personal gain do I?
Kincaid: *half smiles* Um... no.
Tara: Good. Because, I will if I have to. It's a very serious thing. *smiles at him* Now did you get all your flight stuff squared away?
Kincaid: Let's hope, heh. I've never flown before...So I hope I get on the right plane...
Kincaid: But how hard can it be?
Tara: *smiles* It's not really that bad. I can go with you to the airport, i-if you'd like.
Kincaid: If you want... I mean... I don't want to keep you away from more important things. Like say... demons......or.. vampires... or leprechauns... do those actually exist?
Tara: *shaking her head* N-nope. Demon free night. A-atleast I hope. *furrows her brow* I'm not sure. I've never seen a leprechaun. But one never knows. *grins*
Kincaid: Heh. Well, I have a few things to pack.. and I don't have to leave for another 12 hours.
Tara: Just come and let me know w-when you're ready to go. *smiles* Y-you should get there atleast 2 hours before your flight. W-with this whole security issue, it's always best.
Kincaid: Okay, heh... sounds like a plan. Thanks again, Tara.
Tara: You're welcome. *smiles* I'm always here, anytime you need me.
Kincaid: *smiles and heads off*
