On Friday afternoon our FIOS died. I could explain the problem, but you wouldn't understand (actually, I think I got that backwards). Verizon couldn't send someone out until this morning, which was fine, but that meant we were without internet, television, AND THE TIME DISPLAY ON THE CABLE BOX all weekend

The mom-to-be REALLY didn't expect the shower?? Hmm, somehow I doubt that, LOL.

They told her the party was for her pregnant friend, so she actually showed up to her own party with a present. Heh. But I didn't really get to talk to her much so I'm not sure if she was actually surprised.
