but erin, drinking will ruin your life. and it's not edge to drink. and my dad's cousin's brother's friend is an alcoholic and so everyone who drinks is an alcoholic.
You tell 'em. Drinking doesn't have to run or ruin a life. Sitting down with a glass of wine, or drinking a beek with some barbeque can be very enjoyable. At my age, I shouldn't drink as much as I do - which is regularly. But, most of the people I cruise with don't do much else. So drink we do, and more often than not we're wasted. Now, I actually value the times when we sit back and veg on a weekend, watching slasher flicks, grilling some burgers and having a couple beers. Or when I hang with my other friends from highschool, have a glass of wine and cheese or just spend the day in Boston or at the movies. Once you're drunk all the time, the alternative of not being so is more appealing. Funny how perception changes. Anyway, the point is just to be responsible and true to yourself. Know your limits and know that (or have faith that) if you step off the path, one of the people who hold you dear to their hearts will help you find your way back. You're a smart enough girl to not screw up anyway
