Kids have no business in the standing area of a concert; his mom should have realized he could be badly injured like that, not to mention his hearing could be damaged from being so close to the sound system. Was she being so irresponsible because she thought she could get all the way to the front row if she used her son?

The mother was very irresponsible, it is a dangerous area, maybe Security people should have asked them to move...
