Why is my room so fucking cold?

So I basically sent my entire weekend doing college applications and barely put a dent in all the work that needs to be done.  Fuck.  This applying to college stuff is terrifying.  I can't believe they expect me to try to explain who I am and what I've done the first 18 years of my life and just hand it to them so they can tell me if I'm good
