The Anime That Wouldn't Die

Ok. I've discovered something about myself that is rather distressing. The longer the anime, the less I care.

Take Naruto. I loved this anime/manga in the early days. It was fun and action packed. Unfortunately after the hundredth "believe it!", I wanted to killed the protagonist with a broken bottle. I became annoyed with the fact everyone still had to explain things to Naruto that he really should have known already. The plot become more and more ridiculous. (The moon! Fucking seriously?!) Eventually I just didn't care. I honestly don't give a crap how this one finally ends.

Inuyasha. Seriously do I need to say anything more. Did this anime ever even have an ending?

Now for something really confusing. I love One Piece. I have no idea why. Maybe the fact that it is supposed to be utterly ridiculous. Just because a new character has been added doesn't mean they're suddenly going to ignore all the other characters. They treat the entire crew as being important. (While in Naruto most characters don't seem to exist except for filler to the tragic love story that is Naruto and Sasuke.) There's also a hell of a lot less back stabbing going on. I'm still trying to work this out. When I finally come to a conclusion I'll be sure to let ya'll know.

If anyone has any suggestions or wants to offer their opinion feel free to do so.

anime, rant
