New songs and old friends
Ville had searched very long for a quiet place, but he still could hear all the groupies, the other bands, the crews and a lot of other noise. He sat on a trunk which lay on the cold grass. He sighed. There was probably no quieter place on a festival...
He was freezing. The pencil fell from his cold hands down to the ground. "Perkele...", he murmured. He pulled his woolen cap deeper in his face, picked the pencil up and lighted a cigarette.
He had searched a quiet plac because he had had an idea for a song, but now he didn't know how to start it. He wrote some words, crossed them out, wrote them down again. It didn't work. He closed his eyes and let his thoughts wander. Some pictures came to his mind.
Pictures of a loved person who he had seen smiling, laughing, singing, getting older...and even crying.
He smiled. He suddenly knew how to start the song. He opened his eyes, but the blue eyes of his thoughts didn't fade away - He could see them right in front of him.
Bam grinned. "I thought you'd never notice me...What are you doing here, Sweetheart? We're all searching for you. Were you dreaming again?"
Ville grinned back. "You know I'm always dreaming." He stood up and took Bam's hand. "Okay, if the others are seeking after me, let's go get back to them."
He wouldn't forget his idea for the song no more...
