Yes I thinkt he funeral not being there pissed me off...I was so upset and moved by that whole scene in the book n they just completely dodged it :|

I agree with pretty much ALL of this. It kills me that so much of the plotline in every Harry Potter movie is just gone - like you said, if you haven't read the books, are you just to make assumptions?

Kenny hasn't read the books, and after this movie he had to quiz me about certain wee bits, and now (finally) he's reading them because there is so much he didn't know!

That being said though, compared to the other movies? I quite enjoyed this one. It made me laugh with all the hormonal stuff, and Slughorn, and Lavender etc. Compared to the other movies, I thought it did better than say, the Prisoner of Azkaban. That was one of my favourites in the series and the movie just didn't do it any justice whatsoever. Anyway :) xx

Man don't even get me started on Prisoner of Azkaban, that film is an abomination constructed from the mangled remains of my favourite Harry Potter book -_-

Sad thing is you're right, it is better than the others, though that really isn't saying much! I'm glad another HP nut agrees with me and I'm not the only one dismayed by the shittiness of the films =P
