It's this idea of men as naturally violent creatures who are constantly having to restrain themselves from using their superior size and strength to hurt women

...wait...we can do that?

I apologise in advance then for when I do change and turn up as a cocky, but caring, 6 foot 2 sparkly guy

So all I need to do is act like this Edward guy and then I can get it on with Asian-American counsellors? Beast.

I wouldn't change myself for any woman and I'd expect the same from them. I would want a woman to love me for who I am rather than what they think I am or who I remind them of.

I reckon I'm pretty awesome as it is. If I didn't, I think I'd wanna find a better role model than a vampire called Edward...like The Dude or Stifler! :P

Hell yeah, the Dude is a way better role model!

... But then I figure Darth Vader is a better role model than this dude -_-

You are awesome Coup, I'm gonna high five you for that *high fives* ~_^

The whole fuckeduppedness that Twilight has spawned scares me. Not only are women being treated not very well, men are too. I think I'd like to give guys more credit that they don't actually want to just hurt everything all the time :|

I tried watching that video a while back but her voice did my fucking nut in :p

Have you read any reviews of New Moon? I can't fucking wait to see it :DDDD

I was fortunate enough to view it via cuts ^_^

Yeah exactly, it just doesn't make any sense. I don't understand how it applies to any one gender or how it's supposed to be remotely useful in an actual relationship. If you're the kind of person that's gonna take any of this seriously, you're either incredibly manipulative or too weak willed to develop your own personality.

I guess that's the trouble with some people, they're so busy trying to be somebody else they can't appreciate individual virtues.
