Honeymoon in a Nutshell

We left for the airport. When we arrived at the terminal, I learned that our destination was to be none other than Kona, on the Big Island of Hawaii. I'd never been to Kona, and got understandably excited.

I laughed about the time share thing, though. We did a time share for our honeymoon and totally blew them off on the presentation. The next time we went back, we wanted the gift card so we did it, but holy hell you are so right - how many ways can you say no and how many ways can they redo the deal to make you say yes? We lost HOURS of our life that second time and almost said yes when, after multiple refusals, they were practically giving it away. (Of course, that doesn't include taxes and fees so we probably would have ended up selling organs) But we were strong and said no and vowed never to do one of those again. The next time we went back we had a kid and used her as an excuse, lol.
