Starting a Lisp project in 2014

If you're starting a project today and you want to make it easy to interact with the outside world, there are many, many, many services available. If you're feeling overwhelmed with all the options, here's what I'd recommend to get started:
  • Manage sources with git and host the code, issue tracking, and website on github
  • Get a blog on Tumblr or Read more... )

Github's Wiki ext_2740139 August 23 2014, 16:43:05 UTC
Hi Zach, one thing that I've been doing for my Graph DB project is to use the wiki provided by Github for it. Right now is not up to date, but it is a good alternative to having a separate blog, I also have a Blogger blog but I do not discuss my project there.

Thanks for your suggestions.

What do you mean? Why would a project need a blog? Isn't included documentation enough?

Thanks.

If you feel like writing about your project in a blog-like way, tumblr and blogger are good ways to do it.

If you don't feel like that, there's no need to get a blog.
