ahaha but it was my own choice lol it looked ugly when it was done LMAO depending on the day, if i really hate it, ill just grab something old LOLOLOLOLOL
UWHAAHAHA,first I didn't know you're a Muslim, I don't know if you can read Arabic but I will write it anyway كل عام وانت بخير مقدماً Eid is a time of joy with the family-not always- and fashion struggles with the moms.
I still have that nightmare every time we are visiting or getting visited during Eid, I want my comfy jeans or give me a Lolita dress and I will be fine :p
Oh and I have to coordinate the colors with my hijab too *goes to rummage through the closet*
The jrock fandom has a lot of Muslim fans! I realized that after watching J-melo ^^. I don't think any other fandom has so many fans from areas like Middle East and Asia :)
Moms get really paranoid about foods and clothes during Eid don't they? It happens to me every year! but other times, I at least got to make her listen to some of my demands. This year, I had no say at all!
Haaaa you wear Hijab too! wow! It's a nice practice, really. But I'm not used to it :(
And I kinda can read Arabic with punctuation marks. Without the marks I'm blind :(
The Arabic jrock fandom has so many what I like to call with my friends "closet jrock fans"
And yes there are lots of people from South East Asia and there exists from Arabian countries but they're not active or very passionate like the Arabian K-pop fandom.
Hahaha you're like speaking about every mom during Eid,yup fussing about food and clothing plus the pain you have to undergo when you have guests <.It's okay,in my family we believe it ought to be a decision you take, something you really want to do and stick to it,no matter how old are you
( ... )
closet j-rock fans eh? but what I saw on j-melo, girls from middle east are really enthusiastic! They even have fanclubs! Of course you know it better than I do :)
I think being a j-rock fan is an amazing experience. I'm not against other genre of music, and I'm not even trying to be biased coz I'm a jrock fangirl. It's just, Jrock has this 'something' that elates you. It's not only about screaming and headbanging, you feel this emotional attachment with the music and the artists. I don't know if any other genre can give you that feeling.
Eid is supposed to be fun, but for us, the host families, it's really hectic. But I enjoy it ^^ it's one time of the year you get to see all your relatives together :)
Ahh yeah, only arabic in books and Qur'aan is all I can read. And thank you for making it easier for me this time ^^.
I looked up Eid dresses on google and they look quite nice to me... then again, that what google is telling me...O___O
Awww Xadow I'm sure you'll look great in the dress, no matter what colour it is~~ You know how pink is actually red plus white? So just think of the dress as a white dress with lots of red paint on it =3= If that doesn't work... just don't look into the mirror that day~~~*gets kick*
They are nice, but well, they're just not my type you know? All frilly and girly with heavy embroidery, not me at all. Give me some nice top and jeans and I'm fine with it. I really don't care what others think as long as I'm comfy *sighs*
I hope I don't look like an overdressed monkey *cries*
Thank you so much sweetie! You're always supporting me like this! What would I do without you!
Ah I see~~ Yes I know that's not your style... Xadow is one of those cool girls! >/////< Well... moms always want their daughters to look lady, don't they? But I'm sure with some heart to heart, they'll finally understand and give in~
Of course you wouldn't look that bad!!! You wouldn't look bad at all!!! Just be confident in yourself and you'll be fine~ there's nothing to worry about ^^
No no no no Xadow, it's the other way around... what would I do without YOU??? QAQ
Hi, I have a question and it's not meant to be rude or anything! I don't know much about your religion, I'm not religous myself. But I've heard that it's not "allowed" or okay to be gay according to the Quran (?). Also the muslims I've known/know are very anti gay people. But you are writing gay fics and fangirl aoiha? ;) I'm just curious, I didn't know there were so many muslims that like bands like the Gazette when the impression that I've got is that muslims are so against gay stuff (not that Gazette are really gay, I know). I hope I'm not offending anyone by this, I really don't know much about this stuff.
As for religion, you're right. I've studied my religion well. And to tell the truth, I'm not very devoted. Yes I follow the rituals. But sometimes it's impossible to follow everything. Homosexuality is looked down upon in almost every religion, not only ours. Another fact is, don't you think writing gay fics, if you like to put it that crudely, is better than taking drugs? Don't you think watching jrock fanservice is better than watching porn? Don't you think fantasizing about our otp's is better than having sex with the first guy that glomps on me
( ... )
Okay, thank you for your reply! I just wanted to know what you would answer because I was curious :) How is "gay fanfics" crude, that's what it is, what else should I call it. And I want to add, my parents and my friends (none of them are religious) know I fangirl japanese guys doing things to each other/fanservice haha. My friends also know about me reading gay fanfics, they didn't even react much to it. :) That's cool Middle east loves Jrock^_^ I'm glad you werent offended!
