it's been a little over 3 years since someone that i held in great respect left this world. since his leaving the world of music has been less bright.

out of respect i'm making this post and thinking about his friends and family that are left behind with a feeling i am all too familiar with.

rest in peace dimebag. you rock on in our hearts.

he was a genius. one of the living greats. now he's a legend that will continue to inspire.

saying all that though still doesn't take away my sadness that i will never have his next album to look forward to.

i remember just being stunned, it sounded like a corny movie plot, not something that would happen in reality.
