after what i just completed doing, i can seriously imagine gumshoe spending nights in with a cup of weak tea and a battered old guitar (possibly with only 3 strings) and maybe a scruffy mongrel curled up around his feet.

yes, i did just learn all of "gumshoe's theme" on the guitar.

i was just listening to it and thought... i can work that out! picked up my guitar and started searching for the notes. while doing that i could envision gumshoe doing exactly the same thing, so now, in my mind forever, gumshoe's theme was composed by him, in the scenario i described above.
