Heehee, I'm so opposite of you. I'm currently digging Kucinich, and once again contemplating leaving the country if certain election scenarios play out.

However, at least this time, candidates with intelligence are making the news and debates.

I don't think Kucinich is opposite at all... I mean, in the sense that he's truthful and honest and supports the will of the people. I'd vote for Kucinich in a heartbeat if the Republicans and people refuse to give Ron Paul a fighting chance.

that being said, I think if we all get together we can make Dr. Paul the next President. :)

Ah, see, I'm the jaded liberal over here... At this point, I'd vote Republican over my own dead body. The distrust of the GOP around NYC is palpable, it's rather sad.

There are obviously tons of reasons, and it's not like the Dems are getting a lot of love, either...

Frankly, if there was a viable third party, I could see most of the Northeast going for it almost entirely. We're feeling a wee bit screwed.

Ron Paul is a republican circa 1900, not 2007. He believes in the letter of the Constitution -- spend less money, shrink the federal government, abolish the income tax and the IRS, have a sound fiscal policy, return the US to the gold standard and repeal the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, etc...

did you have a chance to watch the video? I can give you a few other links if you like.

I considered myself a democrat or a 'liberal' until I started reading his opinions. I'm disgusted by many of the other "candidates". Dr. Paul ran on the Libertarian ticket in 1988 -- he's not what you would expect. :)
