I'm new to the whole SPN fandom but it would seem REALLY STUPID to kill off a character played by Mark Sheppard. Why would you get rid of someone that wonderful? He'll be back.

My hope is that Gabriel brings him back.

I would really love to see Gabriel again too... But to be honest, I don't believe he will come back... It's only Dean and Sam who keep dying and coming back ;)
