We should remain classless

John Ralston Saul's observations of where our education system is headed should be heeded by state and federal governments. Australia has managed to be a relatively inclusive and classless society for many years, avoiding the pitfalls of class divisions based on birth (as in Britain) and on race or urban location (as in the US).

hehe.... my mum had a go at me about it.. said it was inappropriate because they sent my sister to a private school. but really, just because they're stupid doesn't mean i should not voice my private opinions on government policy, does it?
