Kinda X posted from UKP - I've only gone and lost my job!

I know.. how careless do you have to be to loose a job?? I've looked under the sofa and in the cats box and hoked through all the cupboards but no.. it seems like its gone.

I've done the usual british thing (no matter what part of the uk you're from) and made a cuppa tea and soothed my nerves. I also had a wee cry and now I'm hitting the employment

I am really sorry to hear that hon, we have have the same sort hanging over us for the last three weeks, people being laid off and no idea who, Rob has survived the first cut but has had to take a 10% pay cut, the mood at work for those left is bad as they are all still nervous for their jobs and missing the lads that went.

I will keep my fingers crossed for you that you get another job soon to keep you going until your perfect job comes up.
Feel free to cry, I was gutted when I lost my last job during cutbacks too, I can't work anymore but I still remember that kicked in the gut feeling. You are in my thoughts. Hugs.
