Previously:
A gasp alerted the group and noticed that their youngest begun breathing abnormally fast and they ran up to him offering him comfort.
“No…” the youngest gasped “I can feel it...She’s starting to make her move…I can feel death…its coming”
Silent claimed them and they all looked at each other and nodded…It was time to make ‘Their’ move.

Ryutaro and Yamada stood in the shadows watching the two friends who were sitting down, sighing at what to do Ryutaro sat on the dirty ground. Dark orbs scanned the place and noticing something different, and tugged Yamada to gain his attention.
“What’s wrong?” asked Yamada
“Nothing but its weird” stated Ryutaro
“What’s weird?” asked Yamada “Do you sense something?”
“No it’s just that….That girl she doesn’t have the scent of death anymore” said Ryutaro who eyed the girl that they identified as Hanako due to the eavesdropping or they called it as “protecting”.
“What? You’re probably just imagining Ryu” laughed Yamada
“Maybe” sighed Ryutaro making himself stand up and lean against the old tree

“Is it all good now?” asked Hakufu
“Hmmm yeah…” smiled Hanako
Boy she was glad just last week she felt that her life was in mortal danger and she couldn’t even stay in the house by herself, but few days has gone by and she somewhat feel a lot safer and the feeling that she’s been feeling that time has died down. Hanako knew she still couldn’t rest as the faint dark cross was still engraved on her chest. But she decided to not pay attention to it and just prayed to the Gods that, that time would be the last encounter. Hanako’s thought floated to one hyper-active boy she met few days back making her smile.
“I wonder how he is” thought Hanako
“Thinking about Chii?” asked Hakufu
“Eh? How…Is it obvious?” sighed Hanako
“Hmm not so much but oh speak of the devil here he come” said Hakufu pointing at the smaller frame not far from them who was tugging on another person.
“Hanako!” said the voice that she recognized as Chinen
“Hey Chinen-kun, Keito” greeted Hanako who got a hug from the squirrel boy and a slight nod from the older guy.
“What are you guys doing here?” asked Chinen
“Oh we were just….” Hanako trailed off and looked at Chinen’s button up shirt that exposed just a bit of his chest, it wasn’t that Hanako wanted to see it but it was the fact that there was a disappearing black cross identical to hers present;she rubbed her eyes to make sure she wasn’t hallucinating but it was there. It wasn’t obvious but faint enough for her eyes to notice, she wondered how Chinen himself hasn’t noticed. Keito noticing Hanako’s glance at his friend asked if anything was wrong.
“Huh? No it’s just I was thinking if you accidentally drew across on your chest” said Hanako
“Hmm no I haven’t” said Chinen who looked at the inside of his shirt “Then again my chest area kind of burns at times”
“Eh?” whispered Hanako

Ryutaro who was silently standing and had his eyes close suddenly gasp and opened them wide and stood up alerting his companion and scanned the area as his eyes landed on one particular boy.
“It’s him…” said Ryutaro
“Him?” asked Yamada
“He has it” said Ryutaro eyeing the boy who was talking to Hanako “We need to move now and tell the others”
“Huh? What hold on” said Yamada who followed the startled looking Ryutaro “Ryu!”
“It’s him Yamada! She’s targeting him” said Ryutaro “I don’t know how this came about but death isn’t tied to Hanakoanymore but to that guy whom she’s talking to!”
“What? Ryu mind explaining?” asked Yamada who was now panting
“I don’t know but for some reason Hanako has been spared by her and death isn’t coming for her but him” explained Ryutaro “Its faint but it’s there… Death is coming for him and she’s not far behind us...We need to do something before he suffers the same fate as him…And I won’t allow it”
“Ryu…” whispered Yamada noticing the pained expression on his face did nothing but gave him a soft nudge “It’s ok…we’ll save him”
Ryutaro looked at the sky and had one person on his mind “Brother…”
