It's been a few days since I've posted because... Well, because I have too many irons in the fire. I am trying to finish a play (I am ALWAYS trying to finish a play, it seems), attending all sorts of social functions and - to top it all off - have immersed myself in a gargantuan project that is completely unnecessary

Bored teenagers get on my nerves and the last thing I'd want is to have some bored teenager messing with my computer. :-)

Washing your car is one thing. Messing with your computer is another altogether. You're not going to let him or her DRIVE your car around unsupervised, are you? :-)

I had a fond idea that you could stand in front of a shelf of CDs and sort of wave the scanner along the shelf, and it would read everything. It's a pipe dream, isn't it? You have to take each CD out?

LOL I just went and tried it. Didn't work, damn it! Wouldn't that be great?

BTW, I grossly overestimated the number of CDs I mentioned above. It turns out it's far less. I was more or less delirious when I wrote the post and my brain was clogged with dust. In fact, my brain is still clogged with dust. And, come to think about it, I'm still delirious, too.

Dusty work indeed. Might be worth wearing one of those face masks while doing it!

I can't find the face masks because they're buried in dust. I'll probably sneeze before long and they might be excavated by the wind... :-)

How the hell could I get laid, I haven't been in Canada or Mexico! :-)
