Here are a few comments made by people throughout the past few hundred years. I thought they were pretty cute. On the other hand, I wasn't on the 'business end' of any of them. :-)

I love the Shaw-Churchill exchange.

Churchill was apparently quite the wit. I'm not sure whom it was with that he had the famous exchange:

She: "You're drunk!"

WC: "Yes, I'm drunk. And, you're ugly. The difference is, when I wake up tomorrow, I won't be drunk anymore." I've heard that one quoted often over the years.

Ha! These are great -- I've heard a lot of them before, but this one was new to me:

"He is simply a shiver looking for a spine to run up."

Did these come from one of those Curmudgeons bibles, or whatever they're called? I keep meaning to get one...

Not sure where they came from. A friend of mine sent them to be with no attribution. :-)

Oh, got a new DSLR camera to photograph the books. However, there will be a learning curve but I'll get right on it today. I brought it home last night but was so tired I couldn't focus on all the buttons and controls while trying to read the instruction manual... :-)
