Here's what you do: DO NOT WORK FOR FREE!! take the job, and send your income to me. Write it off on your taxes as a charitable donation to the arts. Win/Win!

This sounds like it would be a dream job for my daughter!

So, what you should do is hire her as your executive assistant .. they can pay HER your salary which wouldn't complicate your "situation" and you'd have the benefit of having someone to help you with the time that the position would take away from your umm .. other interests!

I totally agree with you regarding doing it for free.

I don't know how splendid a job I'd do. I'll bet all the producers, directors, performers and stage hands would love me because I would never do anything but praise them, no matter how the performance went. I would find it necessary to find and focus on the best things they do. I'm not sure how much of a real 'review' that would provide.

But, I'd make lots of new friends in the theater. :-)
