So. As I've mentioned before, I'm hugely into audio books. And I started listening to this series, called "Collars and Cuffs" which is (supposed to be) set in Manchester, UK. (The author actually did a better job with setting in the 2nd book, fyi.) It's about the members of a BDSM club and how they find love and happiness and BDSM bliss

Oh my goodness. I kept reading and reading your summary/review and it just kept getting worse, so much worse. But yes, I'm in agreement with you. There are so many things wrong with this novel. But, like you said, at least the BDSM aspect was done well.

RIGHT? I kept listening to it, waiting for it to get better and it just didn't. It's actually worse than my description because I left out all the casual sexism and bad writing :/ And yet, I've downloaded the next instalment, because I live in hope that it'll be better. If not, I'll definitely quit this series. It's 8 books in total, so listening to 4 is giving it a good chance to convince me that it's not garbage.

Yyyyyeah, that sounds pretty bad. I realize you're not giving us a play-by-play exactly but it's hard to think what additional plotlines could redeem that!
