I didn't get to see Argentina's goal, but Germany's equalizer was a thing of beauty. I'm not very good at describing that sort of thing, but I'm sure you can find highlights on the internets if you're interested. Beautiful flick-on header cross to a strong header coming back across to the far post.
To be fair, Argentina kind of got hosed when their goalie went down after taking an inadvertent knee to the midsection and they had to replace him. Nobody would have stopped Germany's regulation goal, but he looked lost on the penalties. It also cost them a substitution, which probably screwed with the coach's tactics.
Oh well. My team won. My grandmother will be happy.
