Y'know, beer sounds good today, even if today wasn't already the day it is. Buffy's been in with Giles since we got home from work, still talking about what's going on all over the slayer-filled planet. I think they're planning on holding the house meeting pretty soon. Me? I'm still processing all of this ( Read more... )

Yay! Irish pride, yo!!! sorry.

I think you should get away. You think it will only be good for the others? You deserve time off. I know in this instance, you don't really want it, but for once, you need to think about what you need. Ever think that maybe the reason you get so amazed and uncomfy with 'normal', is because you weren't meant for it? Just some food for thought...

Get away? I guess I could... but I don't know. I don't want to take off just to take off. Until plans are made and people decide what's up, I don't want to decide on anything yet.

Ever hear that 'change is on the wind' saying? I've got a feeling that we're facing a hurricane.

Take off just to take off? Hell no. Soo not what I meant. I htink we all know that pointless vacations and/or road trips involving you are a bad idea. Bad. I just meant that maybe, when they start giving out assignments (which I have a feeling they will), you should make the best of it. Pick a place you think you'll like, somewhere you've always wanted to go. Hell, you could go on a frickin African safari! lol.

And Xander? You were made for hurricanes. You're like a palm tree, or one of those sand bag thingies ;)...

Going WITH Buffy and Dawn. I'm sure they'd be ecstatic to have you, and I seriously doubt Giles would mind.

Believe me, that was the first thing I thought of. But Buffy was right to talk me out of it. It's just a few months, and if we're in help mode, then honestly? There's not much helping that I'd be able to do there. Vacation would be nice, sure, but... well, not sure what I'll be doing yet instead.

while this does sound bad Xander adrian__tepes01 March 18 2004, 01:26:58 UTC
Look at it like this,

-You won't have to try to decipher the menu in most countries.
-You won't miss March Madness while being overseas.
-You won't have to put up with the French.
-You won't run into fa...er nevermind.

Just try to not let this bother you too much.. however things turn out.

All good things, yeah. But until things are figured out for sure around here, I'm just going to attempt to think positive. The attempt is a total failure so far, but I'm still attempting.

Beannachtaí na Féile Pádraig oraibh!

I'm appalled that you had absolutely no desire to celebrate the one holiday that actually endorses one getting blitzed out of their mind.

Everything will work out in the long run. I hope.

Bean Not Tall in Fail what? Okay, translation, please?

I took care of the blitzed out of my mind part just fine. I just didn't do the celebrating part.

Me too.

Beannachtaí na Féile Pádraig oraibh. It's Irish Gaelic. St. Patrick's Day blessing upon you. I think it's actually the plural version of the greeting, but hey... I tried.

No hangover?

Got it. Then, hey, thanks!

Nah, not so bad. Took a couple aspirin, downed some coffee, and I'm about 95% good to go.
