I love how you weave canon throught this and I adore the relationship between Angel and Xander. I always found it a pity that they never got along because they seemed to be struggling through similar issues in canon. The characterisation is perfect here and I love the relationships between everyone here.

I really like how you are using canon alongside your story, and I really enjoyed Xander telling it like it is at the town meeting.

Xander at the town meeting was one of those jumping off points. I always wondered why Xander wasn't at the meeting with the others. I would have liked to see his interaction with Willow's mom since he and Willow were supposed to have been friends from at least as far back as kindergarden.
