Dawn: So........ Buffster, getting a little :: nudge nudge :: from you know who?
Buffy: I laughed and looked at Dawn. "Dawn what are you talking about?"
Xander: I heard talking in the room next door. Maybe Buff and Spike were back. I wanted to show them what happened to me last night. I left my room and knocked on their door.
Dawn: "Buffy, c'mon, I know all about that stuff. Why can't you just talk to me openly about it?"
Buffy: I looked at Dawn. "I'm not getting anything from anyone!" I lied. I heard the door knock. "Who is it?"
Xander: "It's me Buff, open up." Here goes nothing...
Buffy: "The doors unlocked boy wonder." I called at the door as I laid back on the bed and closed my eyes.
Dawn: "Yar Matey." I said as I saw the door crack open.
Xander: I opened the door up. Dawn saw me first. I saw Buffy laying on the bed with her eyes closed. "Hey guys, what's happenin'?" Dawn stared at me with her mouth gaped open. "What?" I asked.
Dawn: "Pirate. Joke. Unsuccessful. Random. Eye. Me. Confused."
Buffy: I heard Xander and Dawns confused babble. "What’s goin? Holy hell… Um Xander… there’s an eye where you patch should be…" I spoke confused.
Xander: "Yeah, and it's not even glass. Your Xander pal got a little visit from the ptb last night. That is the powers that be. Weirdest thing...probably ever...you know that they were interested in me and all..." I trailed off for a second thinking. "Want to know the weird thing, well besides my eye growing back...? The guy that they sent was Ben...you know...other half of Glory Ben. I guess he works for the ptb now. Weird shit, huh?"
Dawn: "Ben knew Glory?"
Buffy: I cringed a little at the mention of Glory and Ben. "Ben's a power that be huh?" I raised up off the bed and hugged Xander. "I’m happy for you. You deserve it." I spoke and I meant it. He did. But Ben almost helped kill Dawn and me. A ptb...that’s…fucked up.
Xander: I hugged Buffy back. I didn't really want to say it in front of Dawn, but she'd probably heard about it already. "I guess it's a good thing that I staked that vamp the other night." I winked at Buffy. I don't think she found me making light of trying to get myself killed as funny.
Buffy: "Yeah…heh...good thing." I faked a lie.."So Ben…good guy now?" I said…flinching at the mention of his name. I moved and sat back down on the bed.
Dawn: "Didn't you have a little thing for Ben, Spike shagger?"
Buffy: I glared at Dawn. "Yeah then he tried to help get us all killed." I sighed. "And I don’t shag Spike!" I lied yet again. My mind going back to the laundry room last night.
Xander: "Yeah, Ben's making with the good guy act. He told me that he didn't really remember much of when he was half-Glory." I shrugged and sat next to Buffy on the bed. "So you guys all moved into the apartments?"
Dawn: "Yup, all by myself. I get all the peanut butter and bacon sandwiches I want" I licked my lips and rubbed my stomach.
Buffy: "Um ew." I said it Dawn. "Yeah. We were at the apartments and they’re really nice. Yeah…Angel showed up..." My head hung low a little..
Xander: I looked at Dawn, "Dawnie, I think I'm not going to have to eat for the rest of the night because of what picture you just put in my head." I looked at Buffy. "I guess I'm roomin' with G-man. Gonna have to find a job, and get my own place."
Dawn: "Where are you and Giles staying?" I really didn't know what anyone was doing anymore, we weren't all living together it was strange.
Buffy: "Yeah. We should really go talk to Giles tomorrow. Let him know what’s going on." I smiled faintly. "Things have been so tense lately. I've been giving him his space but still we should go see him." I was sure if I was convincing them or myself. "They are staying with us at the apartments."
Xander: "In the apartment right next to Buffy's and Spike's." I gave Dawn a ew look, which I knew she would understand. "Yeah I haven't told Giles yet about getting the eye back either."
Dawn: "Woah... how many apartments are there? What's Andrew doing?"
Buffy: I looked at Xander. "Andrew is too well Andrew to leave alone in La.. " I sighed. "Guess he’s going with us.."
Xander: I giggled a bit. "That's going to be fun. How many rooms does your apartment have Buff? We have two."
Buffy: I blushed a little. "Uh… One bedroom."
Xander: "Okay so who's Andrew bunking with. Giles and I have two bedrooms. I don't want him in my room!" I thought of what that might be like and I shuddered.
Buffy: "He’s not sharing Dawns room." I glared at her.: "Um there is a fourth apartment. It’s small though. He could have that."
Xander: "Wills isn't going to be in that one?"
Buffy: "I think she’s staying at W&H where Faith is right Xander?" I looked up at him.
Xander: I shrugged. "I don't know. I've been a little preoccupied lately."
Buffy: "Yeah with the whole dual vision thing?" I smiled. " I haven't been around much…apartments…Spike...things like that."
Xander: I smiled. "Well good Buff. I'm glad you're happy. How'd the dead boy visit go?"
Buffy: "In a word…tension. In two…jealous tension." I looked up..
"He hates Spike. Doesn’t want me with him but he left me his card. If I needed anything."
Dawn: "Stupid Angel" I muttered under my breath.
Xander: I rolled my eyes. "That's dead boy for ya. When are you guys heading back to the apartments? I could just come with ya."
Buffy: "Cmon guys be nice, it's Angel. He means well." I looked up at them. Having to defend him is not helping me deal with him either. "Tomorrow I think."
Xander: "Okay, well then I'll head over there with ya. You can show me around."
Buffy: "Sure.. I'll let you know. We can go see Giles before hand. Let him know." I sighed and yawned. I glanced up at the bathroom door. Spike acts like he hasn’t taken a shower in a few lifetimes.
Xander: "I think I'm gonna bum some more money off Robin and get some pizza. Want me to swing by here with a slice or two when I get back?"
Dawn: "Me likey pizza! Who's Robin?"
Buffy: "None for me. I ate already...but thanks." I looked at Dawn. "Principal Wood."
Xander: "Okay, I'll bring you back some Dawnie. But I'm not getting anchovies on it.”
Dawn: "He has a first name?!"
Buffy: "Yes. Adults do that form time to time."
