I have a hair appointment tomorrow morning at 10am. I'm trying to grow it out, and I just trimmed my bangs, so it's not so much a cut appt. as a colour one. It's currently black, which I love, but I'd love to see some other colour(s) in there. I'll also consider reds. I'd love to go bold, but I have to stay relatively conservative for my job. I'm

okay, i know, that doesn't help. i'm kind of leaning towards the darker options--red-on-black, or auburn, or wine, or dark purple, or whatever, but that may be because i've only known you as a raven-tressed hottie, and don't have a ready mental image of you as a flaxen-haired seductress.

I really love that pic - I just don't think I could pull off the bright red for work. I wish my hair would hold those gently rolling curls... perhaps I'll try it when my hair grows out a little more. The general colour placement is pretty similar to what I ended up with. Thanks for the vote!

i love that kelly clarkson hair too. that sort of high light dark contrast is what i'm currently working towards (once my hair is light enough).

i like the idea of almost maroony-red streaks, maybe even chunks dispursed in an interesting dynamic way. bold panels of colour would be awesome. streaks in dark hair never seem dramatic enough to me.

I ended up with not too much light - I wasn't ready for an all-over bleaching. But yes, bold! I'll post pics shortly.

I like the reds, the only thing is that red hair colour requires a lot of maintenance and if fades quickly. Good luck at the stylist tomorrow!
