You never escape high school. I thought you may have learned that by now.

Let it go for a while. Be really optimistic about it. That job interview I had last week? I instantly knew when I walked in that I wouldn't fit in. I haven't gotten a call back and I'm not complaining.

I had this exact same thing at my old job. I pretended I was in a movie, that this was a movie set and that they really did like me, they were just supposed to be like this for the movie. It actually worked really well, as delusional as it sounds. I've been the outsider a lot, so I've had to come up with strategies to deal with it since kindergarten. Good luck! :)
