I have no words. I will likely roll on the floor mirthfully after my son is asleep. For now I'm just touched.

For the record:
- no that's not where I thought he was going with "strong" but then again in the mind of a 9yo male, I guess the way he went is a bigger compliment
- I was NOT arm wrestling champion in college. I was arm wrestling champion in elementary school, and of course that included the boys :D
- it took me a while, but finally I figure out what lifting things has to do with loyalty - it's the fact that he lifts them when asked, because he likes you, and is therefore loyal to you and will do nice things for you, such as lifting heavy things.

That is so completely endearing! I love the inclusion of the alternative spellings too. =)

It was *really* hard to type that as he had written it. I'm sure I missed some creative capitalizations. My son has some form of dysgraphia - writing is painfully difficult for him. He can spell well, but when he is writing it just takes too much concentration for him to write so the spelling gets worse. When he types he gets about 30 words per minute, but he didn't get that opportunity for this assignment and had to write the whole thing. It must have taken him about 2 hours. I'm one proud mama!

I just got word that I landed a huge ($1M) research grant for work. I read that email then I came to read LJ. The letter my son wrote still trumps the research award.
