More DI news.

Okay, so after months of staring at the folder of DI chapters I have, written between 2003 and 2006, I've decided instead of continuing DI the way I had planned, I am going to go back and rewrite the whole damn thing. I'm not doing to delete it, by any means. Actually, I'm going to go and read through the entire thing--between work and school @_@--

O rly? o3o How awesome. x3 I got through chapter one and put it up last night. If I'm lucky, I can spend my days off hammering through chapters and make some real progress. =3

=o!! Oooh, hearing about DI being re-vamped and re-written is exciting~ <3 ._. I admit, it will be torture waiting to find out what happens while you re-write it...but I've held out this long, so I'll wait some more x33 and spaz over the re-written chapters when they're posted on FP >3

Trust me, I almost can't wait to get to the new chapters. x3 But there have been problems with the narrator tones and some of the writing in DI for a very long time. I was pretty young when I started it, but still, it needs to be fixed. ^^ Hopefully when I get all the way through, DI will be twice as good for being more cohesive. =3 <3

If she sends them to me, and gives me permission, I will put them up right here. x3 I promise.

Yeah, life has been chaos since I hit eighteen. I'm only now learning to balance everything. >> Even then, it's difficult to find time to write and edit. But I'm making it, so far. ^^ Hopefully there will be just a tad bit more of me around from now on.

Oh I've more than mastered y!gallery in the past few years. XD As for editing, I'm gonna end up having to do it all myself. @_@ So far I have literally rewritten chapter one, with much of the same content but better, more in-character phrasing and dialog...it's gonna be a challenge.

But you're more than welcome to lurk on y!gal and provide feedback on the chapters as they're posted. =3 It's also nice to see you alive. x3 *waves*

I'm sooooo glad you're gonna continue DI! I just found the link to the site in a list of online fanfics in another livejournal and decided to check it out.
Actually, I just finished reading ch06 about 5secs ago. lol
I really loved your story and since your last update there is from 2006 I was afraid you'd dropped DI.
Are the changes gonna be substantial? like, do I hv to read all 6 chaps again?!
I hope it won't take too long till there's new chapters available, it's a really interesting story. ;)

I hate to tell you, hon, but there are almost 40 chapters on FictionPress from back in 2006. ^^; So if you've only gotten through 6 chapters, you still have some ground to cover! XD

As for the changes, they will mostly be changes to the style and tone of the story. Maybe some of the excess will be edited out, but for the most part it will be the same. ^^; So don't be too worried.
