Hi folks, the reluctant Xandra here yet again to make a brief announcement. I've recently learned that Geocities will be shutting down in October, and when it goes, it will delete all of the websites hosted there. Well, it might be a while as my laptop's recharger cord is ... dead and needs replacing, but I would be happy to make a DI community. Also, if you haven't already, I'd suggest saving all copies of DI image files to a photobucket account (photobucket.com) or something like it. It's free, after all.

Somehow, I thought it was you. Wow, nice to see you again.

That'd be great, whenever you get time. Though I doubt it'd get very active, after the huge wait that's been stuck on the story. All the same, God knows I have enough saved fanworks from S&S on my hard-drive. Despite frying two different drives, I've managed to hang onto them. (I have emails from up to six years ago as well...)

When I get some time, I might go and cross-check the files I do have hosted on photobucket with the ones I have on my drive and make sure they're all uploaded. I did that a while ago, thankfully. So it shouldn't take as long. ^^

It shouldn't take long to create the actual community. (Finding pretty wallpaper will be fun!) Uploading the fanart and fics, tagging them and all that will be the time consuming part. But that can be done a little at a time. I'm thinking, for the com name Blackthornsketches or Adriansketchbook or maybe just DI_sketches. What do you think?

Once I've created it, I'll make you a mod as well. And then you can upload stuff on your own, or you can direct me to your photobucket account and I could take it from there.

As for promoting it, ahah yeah, the com probably won't acquire too many watchers. But it'll help if you link to it on your fp account profile page and your panda shop profle page and make another ~announcement~ about it on your lj. \o/

Off and on. I'm more working on rewriting the original chapters, to make it more cohesive. But, DI's been waiting for its ending all this time, and I may have uncovered what I was looking for.

So yes, slowly but surely.

Not on FictionPress or my website, if that's what you mean. I've only finished rewriting the first chapter, as I'm currently a little busy with a back-injury. But once I get going on them, they'll be posted on y!gallery. (Which is 18+ only, I'm afraid...) If I do get enough of them rewritten and reformatted, I'll start replacing chapters on FictionPress. Once I get to the point at which I stopped--chapter 38 I think--I'll keep going with the new chapters. It's quite a process. ^^;
