i think you should not jump to conclusions.

it may turn out horribly. but it may be brilliant.

i agree about matilda and i agree about johnny depp. but if anyone could pull this off, it would be tim burton. i have faith.

and if it does turn out badly, we can discuss horrible movies made from books. i was really upset when i saw the third harry potter. completely ruined. so i'll cross my fingers in hopes of this not turning out like the rest of them.

i dunno, watching that trailer made my head spin.

i like freddie highmore, though. i think he'll make a good charlie.
i'm sure i'll end up seeing and then buying the movie even if i hate it.

i like the third harry potter, i'm worried about the fourth since the history of the shrieking shack was left out of the third movie and they were going to add it into the goblet of fire, which was originally supposed to be two movies but they have decided they can fit it into one. it's such a long book, i don't see how they can make one good movie out of it plus add in the things they left out from the last one, which could have been longer.

they should just stop making me angry, basically.

i think my reasoning for disliking the third harry potter lies in the fact that i knew the story so well when i first watched it. i'm nervous for them to make another one. if it ruins the book i'll be upset.

it's hard putting such a large book into a movie. they did it with "Gone with the Wind" and i was strongly disappointed. i had just finished reading the book so my ex boyfriend rented me the movie. i hatedit!

ugh. now i'm all worked up. must think happy thoughts.

will you be my date (i'm asking in advance) for the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe? i'm giving you 11 months and 3 weeks notice, it doesn't open until christmas. i just think i would very much like you to accompany me to the movie, since i pretty much want that to be the case for just about every movie i go to, or anywhere for that matter.

i just want to know why they felt the need to remake it, the first one was fine.

matilda seemed like a different story altogether as i remember.

and if anyone takes on the bfg and screws it up, i will be really disappointed as well.

well, the first on was inaccurate. that was the excuse i heard for remaking it, but the 2nd one is going to be far more inaccurate. i think the real reason they're remaking it is because it's a fun story with lots of imagery tim burton can take way too far and make roald dahl fans violently angry.

if anyone takes on the bfg, i'm going to l.a. and stopping the project.

at one spot in the trailer johnny depp made a face that totally made me only be able to see him as edward scissorhands. with that in mind, its so hard to look at him as willy wonka. hopefully the movie won't be as cheesy as that song!
