At least she's being responsible and breastfeeding. I'm still a bit pissed about the fact she didn't want to go through the pains of childbirth because it hurt.

that actually wasn't the case, and i meant to post about that. all those quotes where she said she was going to have a c section because of the pain were abridged versions of a quote in which she said she had a feeling she'd end up having a c section and wasn't certain why, but that she'd kind of be relieved because she wouldn't have to go through the pain. what people drew from this was that she had like made an actual decision that she was going to have c section.
she also had this baby before she was due, so that may have been a part of it.

i have no intention of ever breastfeeding. i don't think breastfeeding makes a mother responsible and i don't think bottle feeding makes a mother irresponsible.

I don't think bottle feeding makes a mother irresponsible, because my sister in law did it. But she did it when Mariah stopped breastfeeding. However, I think that breastfeeding is more responsible because it is healthier for the baby. It also happens to be the most natural way that a child can receive nutrition, anti-biotics, etc. It is also the reason that women have breasts/milk ducts.

see, i don't intend to breast feed even once. i'm not even going to try it. i can't even name how many things i've read that show even advantages and disadvantages between bottle feeding and breast feeding. we even learned about it in my childhood learning and development class. if it's going to balance out then i'd definitely run with the option that is less uncomfortable and obnoxious for the mother.
i may have breasts and milk ducts, but i also have an appendix. i don't use that thing either.
