He's my best friend and chosen brother and he made me come over here to Melbourne to stay for a week. So I've had a lovely break seeing the city I was born in, shopping and just having fun! I picked it up just to see what he had bought and then I couldn't put it down. I really enjoyed it.

Heh. I did offer to let him read my book in exchange but he was never a sci fi or fantasy fan.

Would it be rude to ask what your inspiration was? It was so easy to empathise with the characters and to picture myself in New York as well.

It wasn't entirely my inspiration, so it's hard to say. TJB is actually a writing team of four people. The books are a result of four people with big imaginations having fun and playing off of each other. There's more info at www.timothyjamesbeck.com
