i was at work when the power went out, so we were all sitting around for a couple hours 'til they let me just go home. the storm was insane though; the trees in behind wadleighs were pretty much touching the parking lot, and afterwards the complete area was covered in leaves and sticks.
sucks that it only lasted a few minutes though. especially since after it stopped, the sun came out, and the temp went right back up to 90 degrees.
it was quite excellent here. It lasted for about 3 hours (my poor cat got drenched). I sat in the living room and read The Name of the Rose amidst the flashes and crashes. There's nothing quite like reading a 14th century murder mystery set in a monastery during a thunderstorm. Thankfully we never lost power here or had hail of any size.
Things going well for you? I hiked up sargent's mountain (not one we could see from the bluffs but the next one over) a few weeks ago and I'm itching to go hiking again. If you want to come up and go for a hike lemme know.
